These events are the perfect balance between speed and endurance. A lot of strategy is required for these types of running events, but most importantly you need to be extremely fit and strong. Training looks like tempo runs, as well as pacing drills.

These are my personal favorite. The most important aspect to these events are the power and coordination between each jump. These focus very much on technique as well as power which would be gained lifting, plyometrics, and speed work.
